Abstract

This study analyzes the function of impression kandoushi in building character and advancing the plot in the anime Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Through qualitative descriptive analysis of dialogue, this study identifies the types of kandoushi and the contexts of their use. The results show that impression kandoushi in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is often used to convey strong emotions such as determination, create a dramatic atmosphere, and underline important moments in the story. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the study of kandoushi in the context of analyzing popular culture texts and enrich the understanding of anime visual and narrative aesthetics.
