Fungsi Jiwa Tokoh Ichinose Guren dalam Manga Owari no Seraph Karya Kagami Takaya

Abstract
Soul function is a psychological activity that does not change even though it is in a different environment. Carl G. Jung divided soul functions into two, rational functions and irrational functions. The rational function is a part of the psyche that judges a person based on thoughts or feelings. Thoughts judge things based on right or wrong, while feelings judge things based on pleasure or displeasure. The irrational function is a part of the psyche that observes things based on sensing or intuition. Sensing observes things consciously, while intuition observes things unconsciously. This research aims to describe the soul function of Ichinose Guren in the manga Owari no Seraph by Kagami Takaya. This research used the theory of soul function by Carl G. Jung in the structure of human personality. The research method used descriptive qualitative with data sources in the form of Kagami Takaya's Owari no Seraph manga chapters 1 to 33. The results showed that Ichinose Guren is a character who has a thought-type soul function. Based on the data, Guren has a rational nature with soul functions of thought and feeling more dominant than his irrational function. Among the rational traits, Guren has a dominant thought-type function. This proves that as a leader, Guren is able to use his rational where he judges things based on his thoughts.
