Analisis Formula Petualangan dalam Film One Piece: Red Karya Eiichiro Oda


Abstract
The popularity of a literary work is inseparable from the existence of a formula for a particular adventure that is popular with the public and literary audience. This study is conducted using John G. Cawelti's adventure formula theory through qualitative methods and an exploratory approach. The film One Piece: Red is the work of a famous Japanese comic writer named Eiichiro Oda who is also the creator of Monkey D. Luffy's adventure in One Piece. This work tells about Uta's ambition and Monkey D Luffy's adventure in a virtual world full of freedom. This study aims to determine how the adventure formula supports the popularity of the film One Piece: Red. The adventure in this film is supported by the existence of heroes, secondary characters, and supporting backgrounds and music. Likewise, the courage, intelligence, and cooperation of the theme are the three things that play the most roles in the intrinsic theme of this film. In conclusion, the adventure in this film enables this work to be consumed well by the audience along with its popularity.
