THE STRATEGY OF THE ARAB UNIVERSITY IN FACING THE CHALLENGES OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0

Abstract

This paper discusses the problem of the industrial revolution 4.0 challenge that has given birth to sharing new techniques and strategies, and has also integrated the physical, digital, biological and artificial intelligence, the internetization of all things, this industrial revolution will fundamentally change the pattern of human life and replace some human functions with new skills and tasks. The presence of industrial revolution 4.0 can be used well by several countries depending on existing technological infrastructure, as well as the ability of universities to develop education systems, strategies and planning maturity to deal with the challenges that exist in the industrial revolution 4.0, this is what works in universities in the country Arab country. This paper aims to describe several strategies that can be used by
several universities in the Arab country, and try to put some views and plans to build a knowledge economy based on optimizing investment in intellectual property by utilizing the 4.0 industrial revolution. To realize this goal, it is important to implement the following strategies: 1) Review of scientific qualifications in accordance with the current era, 2) Adopting hybrid education, which seeks to improve the quality of capabilities and strategic partnerships with the business sector, 3) Attention to the professionalism of teaching staff, 4) Transfer to virtual learning systems and smart classes, 5) Procurement of multipurpose research and development laboratories, 6) Building strategic partnerships with several academic institutions that have experience in the field of utilization of industrial revolution 4.0, 7) Creating an academic environment to support research growth - quality scientific research, 8) transitioning from consumptive campus to campus producing knowledge and innovation, 9) holding scientific forums with several countries, 10) adding state budget to universities, 11) increasing funding sources, 12) providing admin independence tutoring and finance University, 13) Conduct studies on the implications of industrial revolution 4.0 which will lead to the marginalization of many groups, 14) Management of new security risks, destruction of human relations and ethics to find a solution.
