Games in Teaching English Vocabulary in EFL Context: Young Learners’ Perceptions

Abstract

This study examined young learners’ perceptions on using games and songs for learning
English in EFL context. Many methods have been found to assist young learners in
acquiring English as a foreign language. The students’ perceptions were given from the
questionnaire. The findings showed that most students had a positive attitude of used games
and songs in teaching English in EFL context. It is recommended that both games and
songs can be applied in teaching English for young learners in EFL context.
