Abstract

This study aims to see work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT. VITAPHARM. The method used in this research is to use descriptive quantitative method with the technique of investigating the data in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this study were all permanent production employees who may be 148 people. Based on these calculations, the number of samples taken in this study was 60 respondents. Partially work motivation (X1) has a significant effect, this can be seen in the results of t count 2,636 greater than t table of 2.00247 with a significance level smaller than 0.05. While the work environment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with t count 6.862 greater than t table of 2.00247 with a significance level less than 0.05. Together, work motivation and work environment variables have a significant effect on the performance of production employees at PT Vitapharm Surabaya. This is evidenced by the results of the F test, it is known that F count 53.087 is greater than F table 3.16 and a significant value of 0.000 is smaller than alpha 0.05.
