REPRESENTASI PENYELESAIAN KONFLIK ANTARA ORANG TUA DAN ANAK PADA FILM NGERI-NGERI SEDAP KARYA BENE DION RAJAGUKGUK

Abstract

Film always records the reality that grows and develops in society, and is then projected onto the screen. Film's ability to reach many social segments has made experts aware that films have the potential to influence audiences. The theme that is often raised in films is about family. Because the family theme is very close to people's daily lives. The film “Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap” (2022) is an Indonesian film that tells the story of conflicts between family members that occur in many families in society. Everyone certainly wants to have a harmonious family. But every family must experience their own conflicts. The purpose of this research is to find out how the form of conflict that occurs between parents and children. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This study uses Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. With data collection techniques, namely observing or observing research subjects and also photographing certain parts of the film. The object of this research is the film "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap". The results of this study indicate that the overprotective attitude of parents towards children can cause various kinds of conflicts between parents and children.
