Abstract

The research focuses on Jo March’s Conflict in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women Movie Script (2019). The researchers conducts a qualitative research using Little Women movie script by Greta Gerwig as source of the data.  The finding shows that Jo March types of conflict are intrapersonal conflict, interpersonal conflict, family conflict, and man against nature. In intrapersonal conflict, she feel depressed dan frustrated because she ruin everything because of her temper. In interpersonal conflict, she has a serious fight with Laurie and Friedrich. With Friedrich, they argued whether her story is good enough or not. In another side, Jo March does not the idea of Laurie proposed to her. In family conflict, Jo March has some fight with her family including Meg, Amy, and Aunt March. Her character who has such a high temper make her easily jump in a conflict. In man against nature, Jo March often put herself in a difficult situation because she is a sloppy person.
