The Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Dan Inovasi (JIABI) is a scientific journal run by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of Dr. Soetomo University. The ethical statement of this publication is a statement of ethical code of the body involved in the process of publication of this scientific journal, namely the director, the publisher, the bestrari partner, the writer, the writer and publisher.

The publication of articles in the scientific journal JIABI (Business and Innovation Administration) is the result of the work of professionals to develop a network of knowledge among recognized scientists. In this regard, ethical standards must be defined and applied to all parties involved in publishing, namely: managers, journal editors, best partners, editors, publishers and the public.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences of Dr. Soetomo University, as editor of the JIABI scientific journal, is responsible for maintaining all stages of publication with seriousness and responsibility. The Manager is committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint and other commercial revenues do not affect or influence publication decisions.In addition, JIABI's manager and editorial board always contribute to communication between journals and other publishers in the context of journal development and the quality of scientific articles.


Publication decision

The publisher JIABI is responsible for the selection of articles to be selected and articles that have been successful in the selection will be published. Therefore, the selection and validation of articles that can be published and those that do not deserve to be published must be respected jointly by the publisher. and the author who submitted the article. Publishers must comply with this and other related legal provisions, such as: defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors can negotiate with other writers or the best partners to make this decision

Aspect of justice

The editor who evaluates the manuscript sent by the author through the Open Journal System always pays particular attention to the aspects: manuscript content, contextual scripts with the theme of the publication, regardless of other aspects such as : citizenship.


Editors must adhere to the established code of ethics, including maintaining the confidentiality of manuscripts entered in the publisher. As such, the publisher can not in any way inform the content of the text sent to persons other than the author, the proofreader and the editorial board.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Manuscripts that have been sent by the author and received by the publisher, then by the publisher selected and not selected or not published, the text can not be used by the publisher to be published in other journals, and the substance of the material is not authorized by the publisher without the written consent of the author

Duties and responsibilities of the editorial

The reviewer should assist the publisher in determining editorial decisions and should also assist the author to improve the text so as to improve the revised quality text.


Each reviewer must work quickly to quickly read the text sent by the editor. Thus, if the reviser does not have these provisions, he must immediately inform the editor to return the manuscript or request additional time for a proofreading.


Each text received by the publisher must be re-read by the reviewer. As part of this task, the examiner must maintain its confidentiality. In other words, the script received by publisher reviewers can not be broadcast or discussed with anyone except the publisher.

Standard of Objectivity

Reviewers are required to review the text objectively and critically. They must therefore give a point of view on the manuscript, which is read in an objective, clear, firm manner and provide firm and clear methods of discussion or criticism.

Source Recognition

Reviewers are required to provide notes on the revised text and harmonized with relevant citations. Reviewers must also provide a report to the publisher if a text received from the publisher has a substance similar to the published text.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

The manuscript reviewed by the reviewer may not be used for any purpose, including for personal purposes. Reviewers are also required to reject the text sent by the publisher when the author has a relationship and is interested in the review.

Author's Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting Standards

The author is required to write and formulate a non-plagiarism report or submit an original report, in terms of data and theory embedded in the text. Manuscripts sent to publishers must also be supported by sufficient and responsible references. As part of this provision, all text senders must perform a plagiarism check.

Data Access and Retention

All texts entered in the editor of this journal must be supported by data that can be counted and accessible to all. In this respect, when the examiners ask him what data are entered in the manuscript, the author must account for it.

Originality and Plagiarism

Each script entering the editor, the editor must ensure that the text sent to the editor is an authentic script. Therefore the author must pay attention to the code of ethics for editing the work of other people or previous writers

Double Publication, Redundant and Simultaneous

Any author who sends the manuscript to the publisher JIABI can not publish the manuscript in another journal.In this context, when a text has been sent to our publisher, it can not be sent to another publisher without approval

Source Recognition

Manuscripts written by the author and sent to our editors, if they quote and use other people's data, must pay attention to the provisions of the applicable citation method. Therefore, the author must cite the text that has been published with the correct provisions.

List of Manuscript Authors

The number of writers in each text is limited to 4 authors maximum. Thus, the writing team must involve the second author and so on the author who has contributed significantly to the work formulated.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

When the author finds an error in the written text, he must as soon as possible provide information to the editor, so that the script is deferred in the review process. Even if the error is considered dangerous for all parties, the script that has been entered into the editor can be removed immediately.
