This study was conducted to explore the perspective of existentialist philosophy in the novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati (SMASM) by Brian Khrisna. It aims to identify the transformation process of the main character's outlook on life through the storyline presented. The main focus of this study covers three aspects of freedom proposed by Jean-Paul Sartre: (1) freedom and facticity, (2) freedom and interhuman relations, and (3) freedom and responsibility. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection techniques are carried out in three stages: (1) data provision, (2) data interpretation, and (3) presentation of data analysis results. The findings indicate that the character Ale in Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati undergoes an existential transformation that reflects the three aspects of freedom according to Jean-Paul Sartre: awareness of freedom in facing the facticity of life, the formation of interpersonal relationships, and acceptance of responsibility for his life choices. This transformation marks a shift from despair to an authentic life, making the novel a concrete representation of the human existential project.
