ASPEK MORAL PADA FILM “JUNE DAN KOPI” KARYA NOVIANDRA SANTOSA

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the structural aspects and moral values in the film “June & Kopi” directed by Noviandra Santosa. The structural aspects include theme, characters, characterization, and conflict, while the moral values analyzed involve patience, sincerity, gratitude, and responsibility. This research uses a moral approach and descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation and note-taking techniques. The results reveal that the film presents a major theme of transformation from hatred to compassion, and minor themes such as the importance of patience and responsibility within a family. The characters are portrayed with strong personalities and undergo emotional development throughout the story. Moral values are reflected through the characters’ actions, including patience in facing life’s trials, sincerity in accepting reality, gratitude for togetherness, and a deep sense of responsibility towards family. The film not only delivers a touching narrative but also offers meaningful moral messages relevant to everyday life. Therefore, it can serve as an inspirational learning material in literature education.
