Colloquial language, as a social variation in urban environments, plays an important role in shaping identity, solidarity, and the dynamics of social interactions. The colloquial language used by urban communities in Lampung does not use the Lampung language, but rather Indonesian, because the main language used in urban areas is Indonesian. This study aims to describe the aspects of meaning in the vocabulary of colloquial language used by urban communities in Lampung. Data were collected through social media corpora as well as daily conversation observation. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method with a semantic analysis of meaning aspects according to Pateda (2010), namely sense, feeling, tone, and intention. A total of 32 words were analyzed for their meaning aspects and usage. The results of the study show that colloquial language in Lampung has dynamic and contextual meanings. Most of the vocabulary carries a sense of relaxation, humor, and expressiveness, with an informal and familiar tone of communication. The intentions found are dominated by declarative and expressive forms. Slang has become a social indicator that continues to change following the developments of urban culture.
