The presence of 2013 curriculum with a scientific approach does not change the way teachers teach the students. Game-based learning is very suitable with the character of students at the elementary level who still like to play. Preparation of game-based learning includes two things, namely the preparation of rules or steps of learning as well as the appropriate game media. Thus, the implementation of game-based learning must be prepared in earnest and based on theories and principles of learning. The debriefing of game-based learning is carried out through several stages, namely: training, mentoring, modeling, and workshops. Through training, teachers gain knowledge about learning related to game-based learning. Modeling is intended to provide a concrete example of the implementation of game-based learning. Workshops and mentoring are intended to assist teachers in preparing and implementing game-based learning. Assistance is needed to guide and evaluate teacher performance.

Keywords: Game-Based Learning; Elementary School Teacher; Indonesian Monopoly Game.
2020-11-11T13:57:26+07:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Journal Community Development and Society https://ejournal.unitomo.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/2876 Kualitas layanan dalam industri retail modern 2021-07-13T16:12:10+07:00 [email protected] [email protected]
The outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic had been made a massive impact, a number of business reported have to furloughing the worker, even rid of their employee due to saving their money. The government's program to reduce waste has generated a new innovation, namely by establishing a “waste bank”. Integrated waste processing can stimulate creativity and innovation in society so as to improve the welfare of residents. Garbage can be a source of economic empowerment for the community, by recycling it into unique items that generate money. Community service programs in the form of counseling and the practice of recycling household food scraps are implemented in Gambir Anom Hamlet RT.03 RW.07 Desa Keboan Anom Sidoarjo, this activity will be very beneficial for residents considering the use of food waste, vegetables and leaves can be used as liquid fertilizer , compost while plastic waste can be used as various crafts. With a cost of ± IDR 45,000 / 20 kg for the purchase of used buckets, paralon, woven wire and EM4 as well as yeast, leftover food, vegetables and leaves can produce liquid fertilizer and compost instead of chemical fertilizers which are more expensive. Meanwhile, plastic waste can be used as decorative flowers, bags, and other handicrafts with an average selling price of IDR 10,000. Counseling and training on waste processing is expected to provide an understanding to the community of the importance of protecting the environment by obtaining added value from an economic side.

Key words: Compost Fertilizer; Leftovers; Organic trash; Training; Recycling.
2020-11-11T13:57:32+07:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Journal Community Development and Society https://ejournal.unitomo.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/2995 Membentuk kesadaran dampak sampah melalui pemahaman gaya hidup minim sampah 2021-07-13T16:12:08+07:00 [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]
There are 275 million tonnes of plastic waste produced worldwide based on data compiled by Jenna R.
