Pemetaan Daerah Penangkapan dan Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Dengan Alat Tangkap Mini Purse Seine Oleh Nelayan Sulamu, Kabupaten Kupang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the operation area of mini purse seine operated by Sulamu fishermen. To determine the type of mini purse seine catches including type and composition. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and survey techniques, namely observing and directly following the fishing process on mini purse seine fishing gear and conducting free or unstructured interviews with fishermen, in order to observe and know the coordinates of the fishing area, the type of fish and the composition of the catch on purse seine fishing gear during the research. The composition of the fish caught during the study, namely, Swallowfish with a total of 21.08% where this fish has the largest composition value and the fish with the lowest composition value is flying fish with a value of 7.38%. The catch map is divided into 4 maps, namely, week 1 map, week 2 map, week 3 map and week 4 map. and each fishing coordinate lists the amount of catch The most caught fish is swallowfish with a total of 3,800 Kg and the least caught fish is flying fish with a total catch of 1,330 Kg. The total catch is 6 species with a total of 18,020 Kg. The catch map is divided into 4 maps, namely, week 1 map, week 2 map, week 3 map and week 4 map. and each fishing coordinate lists the amount of catch.
