Abstract

Every organization is required to always be adaptive in making changes, so it is expected that the competitive advantage of the company can increase and be able to compete with existing competitors. At PT Semen Indonesia Logistik there are problems with the quality of Human Resources (especially truck drivers) who are not disciplined in working. This is known from the evaluation results related to the number of trucks left by the driver on Sundays and Mondays, resulting in a decrease in the amount of transportation realization, besides the low level of driver discipline can also be seen from absenteeism data without information. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, compensation, organizational commitment and leadership style on driver performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at PT Semen Indonesia Logistik. The results of the study through multiple linear regression analysis and Structural Equation Modeling, obtained simultaneously or simultaneously that motivation, compensation, organizational commitment and leadership style simultaneously influence the driver's performance through work discipline as an intervening variable with the effect of contribution of 70,2% and the remainder equal to Another 29.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Based on the partial test results, that the motivation, compensation and leadership style variables significantly influence the performance of the driver through work discipline as an intervening variable, while the variable that does not significantly influence the driver through work discipline as an intervening variable is the organizational commitment variable.
