Abstrak

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a fishery cultivation commodity with high economic value, both for domestic consumption and export. Shrimp is an export commodity with the highest volume with a total export volume of 207,704 tons with the highest income compared to other export fishery products, which is $ 1,719,197,167, this value covers 34.83% of Indonesia's total export value. Bacillus sp. bacteria are gram-positive bacteria and when mixed with vannamei shrimp feed in certain concentrations with the aim of increasing growth and improving intestinal health and can simplify protein compounds. The study was conducted experimentally and aimed to determine the effect of probiotic Bacillus sp. in feed on the absolute weight growth of vannamei shrimp (Litopanaeus vannamei) aged 30 days. The doses used were 2 g / kg feed 3 g / kg feed, 4 g / kg feed and 5 g / kg feed. The method used in the study was the experimental method. The research design used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 4 treatments with 6 replications. Then, a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to determine the effect of the treatment given on growth, followed by the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) at a level of 5%. From the research that has been done, the best results were found in a probiotic dose of 5 g/kg feed with an average growth of 10.28 g. Water quality during the study was still classified as normal, with temperatures ranging from 28 - 30 oC, dissolved oxygen (DO) 4 - 7 mg/l, pH 7.6 - 8.6 and salinity 30 - 32 ppt.
