This research aims to describe the readiness of the student intern participants as Indonesian migrant workers to Japan at LPK in East Java in terms of 3 (three) aspects: 1. Japanese language skills, 2. Japanese work culture ethos and 3. Japanese employment regulations. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observing first before conducting direct interviews with LPK students in East Java. The next step, is recording the results of an interview and the last step is documentating the results of an interviews. Data validation is using an intense discussion with colleague, in addition to figure a triangulation used on data sources and triangulation between researchers. Data analysis used qualitative description techniques arranged in descriptions and explanations. The results of the research show that the readiness of prospective Indonesian interns (CPMI) to Japan at LPK in East Java in terms of Japanese language skills is quite adequate. Knowledge of the Japanese Work Culture Ethos and knowledge of Japanese Employment Regulations were also obtained during training at LPK.
