AYUMI Journal is a cultural, language and literature journal published by the Japanese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters, Dr. Soetomo University Surabaya. AYUMI is accredited based on the Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic of Indonesia Number 152/E/KPT/2023, dated 25 September 2023, Rank 4 (SINTA 4). This journal contains research results, scientific articles, and literature studies on Japanese culture, language and literature.

We invite Japanese literature study program lecturers, researchers and practitioners to send their works both in either Indonesian or English. This journal is published twice a year, which is every March and September. The deadline for submitting manuscripts for the March edition is January and for the September edition in July.
