Abstract

The research focuses on Word Affirmation of Chapman’s Love Languages in Bruno Mars Just the Way You are. The researchers conducts a qualitative research using the lyrics of the song Just the Way You are as source of data. The finding shows that the lyrics of the song Just the Way You are contain a lot of word affirmation by Chapman’ Love language. Because the girl that portray in the song, her love language mostly like is word of affirmation and the speaker gives that love language. The message of this song shows that understanding the love languages with ways each people prefer to give and receive love and making a regular effort to meet those needs are all necessary steps to take for successful partnership. The researcher gives suggestion for the listener that don't just listen and sing the music, but also know the meaning of the song because the song also has a deep meaning in teaching us.
