Abstract

The research focuses on Tyler Durden’s Anarchism in Chuck Palahniuk’s Fight Club. The theory used is the theory of Political Philosophy stated by Berkmen. The objectives of the study are to find out the portrayal of Tyler Durden’s anarchism. The research method uses is intrinsic and extrinsic approaches to analyze the problems. The result of this study shows that Tyler Durden’s characteristics of anarchism are portrayed by six characteristics. They are self-ownership, self-governing, free association, utopian, nihilism, and anti-establishmen.
