External Conflicts Portrayed In Lynne Ramsay’s We Need To Talk About Kevin Movie Script

Abstract

This study discusses the external conflicts seen in the film "We Need to Talk About Kevin" which was directed by Lynne Ramsey. The main objectives of this study are 1) to determine the external conflict that occurs 2) to find out what causes external conflict to occur 3) how the effects caused by external conflict. This research uses qualitative research and descriptive methods. While in the process of data analysis, researchers used descriptive techniques according to Creswell. And the researchers also found the effects of external conflict, namely: Bitterness, and physical violence.
