A Study of Didactic Values in the Novel Sabar Tanpa Batas by Adhitya Mulya and Its Recommendations as Novel Teaching Material in High Schools

This study aims to describe the didactic values contained in the novel Sabar Tanpa Batas by Adhitya Mulya. This research is motivated by the decline in students in reflecting behavior, morals and manners, resulting in the habituation of bad culture towards the surrounding environment. The subject of this research is the novel Sabar Tanpa Batas by Adhitya Mulya. The content of this novel tells the story of the struggle of an older brother towards his two younger siblings to achieve their dreams. The approach and method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is carried out by content analysis using data records. The results and discussion contained in the novel Sabar Tanpa Batas by Adhitya Mulya are that there are 16 didactic values, the most prominent values are the value of helping others and the value of patience. These values are found more often than other values. So this research is very relevant in relation to literary learning, especially novel material at the high school level.
