Abstract

This research approach uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The purpose of analyzing deixis is to be able to interpret the reference of words spoken by the speaker to the interlocutor or from the writing to the reader. Data collection techniques using the listening method and note-taking techniques are used to analyze this deixis. The results of the study on the form of deixis in the video broadcast regarding Prabowo's 100 days of work on the Tempodotco YouTube channel episode Bocor Alus Politik with the title of the broadcast; 1. How the Prabowo Government Buries Gross Human Rights Violations (November 16, 2024) there are 121 personal deixis, 16 spatial deixis, 88 temporal deixis, 330 discourse deixis, 54 social deixis. 2. Jokowi's Dismissal and Prabowo's Plan to Return the Regional Election Through the DPRD (December 21, 2024) there are 106 personal deixis, 13 spatial deixis, 70 temporal deixis, 292 discourse deixis, and 13 social deixis. 3. Distributing Mining Concessions to Silence Lecturers and Students (January 25, 2025) there are 109 personal deixis, 28 spatial deixis, 73 temporal deixis, 315 discourse deixis, and 4 social deixis. Discourse deixis appears most frequently in the three videos, as many as 937 are used because in this political topic the speakers often point to something using the words itu, itu, itu, gini to discuss past things or phenomena. Spatial deixis appears least frequently in the three videos, only 57 are used because in the speech situation the speakers rarely point to space with word references but rather mention space/place specifically. This research can be recommended for teachers as a reference for teaching materials on argumentative text material in grade XI high school. Teaching materials can be designed in the form of e-modules related to the use of deixis in argumentative texts.
