Abstract

 

Indonesian fisheries are the largest in the world, both from capture fisheries and aquaculture. The efficiency of the tilapia hatchery business at CV.SURYA MANDIRI in Buntu Bondong Village, Buntu Batu Sub-district is one of the tilapia hatchery businesses, then what are the business efficiency and factors that inhibit and support the value fish hatchery business. Therefore this study aims to calculate the efficiency of the tilapia hatchery business and to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors for the efficiency of the tilapia hatchery business. So in this study using a qualitative research methodology with a case study approach, the types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and information gathering. The results in this study indicate that CV.SURYA MANDIRI produces 1 total input, 1 unit produces an output of 2,748 and inhibiting factors such as technology are still inadequate, marketing only uses via offline while supporting factors such as technology, namely feed making machines and water pumps, human resources, water directly from the mountains and means of transportation in the form of cars are available. The conclusion of this study related to business efficiency at CV. SURYA MANDIRI can be said to be efficient, while the inhibiting factors are technology and marketing, then the supporting factors that are already available are feed making machines, water pumps, human resources, water from the mountains and transporters tilapia seeds.
