Pengaruh kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada sekretariat badan pengembangan sumber daya manusia provinsi jawa timur


Abstract
Abstract This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of competence and compensation on employee performance with work motivation at the BPSDM Secretariat of East Java Province. This research is a quantitative research using primary data and secondary data which contains information related to the object of research, the respondents in this study may be 65 people. The model analysis used is Path Analysis using the IBM SPSS v25.0 for windows program. The analysis used was the reliability test, the validity test, the statistical test through the t test, the F test and the coefficient of determination (R2), the classical assumption test and the Path Analysis test. Based on the test results, it was found that compensation did not have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and performance at BPSDM East Java Province. Path Analysis found that competence through motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at BPSDM East Java Province. While compensation through motivation is stated to have no effect on employee performance, because the tcount value is 0.7500 because the ttable value obtained is smaller than 1.99897 so that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected.
