PENGARUH PERBEDAAN MATA JARING PADA ALAT TANGKAP JARING INSANG DASAR TERHADAP IKAN BAWAL PUTIH (Pampus argenteus) DI PANGANDARAN, JAWA BARAT

Abstract

This study aims to determine the most effective mesh size in bottom gill net fishing gear for white pomfret (Pampus
argenteus) for Pangandaran fishermen. This study uses the experimental fishing method by making direct
observations of the treatments that are tried and distinguishing three treatments using RAK (Complete
Randomized Design) and then tried with the F test in the variance test (Anova), in order to test the results of the
variance test which states very significantly different so that the Smallest Difference Experiment (BNT) is carried
out. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the mesh size of 6 inches, shows a difference in
catches that are more effective than the mesh size of 4 and 5 inches
