PENGARUH PERBEDAAN WARNA UMPAN BUATAN TERHADAP HASIL TANGKAPAN CUMI-CUMI (Loligo sp.) PADA PANCING ULUR DI PERAIRAN JANGKAR SITUBONDO JAWA TIMUR


Abstract
Indonesia is already known for its marine products. One of the fishery commodities with high economic value is squid. The aim of this study was to find out which bait color the squid preferred on handline fishing gear that gave the best catches. The research method used experimental fishing with a randomized block design (RAK) with 3 treatments (red, blue, and green) and 9 replications (trip). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova), and if there were significant differences in the effect between treatments, then the SPSS Statistical BNT test was performed. The results of the analysis of variance for comparison of F counts of replicates with F tables of 0.01 are smaller or can be written 1.08 <3.89, which means there is no significant effect. For F count treatment is 62.84 while F table 0.01 is 6.23 or can be written with a ratio of 62.84 > 6.23 so that there is a very real effect. The BNT test obtained a value of 1.47 with the total value of each treatment average being 2.89, 3.45, and 6.34. So it can be concluded that there is a very significant difference between the squid caught using hand line and the artificial bait colors red, blue and green. Artificial bait with red color gives the best squid catches among other artificial bait colors.
