ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA PEMBESARAN IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus) POKMAS “KEMIRI SAHAJA” DESA KEMIRI KECAMATAN PACET KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of Indonesia's leading commodities that has the potential to be developed to support national food security, economic resilience and improve community welfare. Research problem: how much revenue is obtained in one cycle of the tilapia rearing business?, what is the cost structure?, how much income is obtained? and Is the tilapia rearing business worth pursuing? Research objective: to determine the feasibility of tilapia rearing business, the cost structure of revenue and the income obtained. The place of research was carried out at POKMAS Kemiri Sahaja in Kemiri Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency. The method used is a survey method. Conclusion: the revenue obtained was IDR. 27,000,000, cost structure is seeds, feed, daily labor, fish health, electricity and other costs totaling Rp. 7,500,000, income amount Rp. 19,500,000, R/C ratio analysis is 3.60 percent, so it is worth pursuing. Suggestions for the future of tilapia rearing business, fish farmers should be able to increase efficiency and productivity by paying more attention to choosing the right location, pond design and construction, water quality, selecting quality seeds, appropriate and regular feed, pest and disease control, harvest management, effective marketing, increasing capacity and knowledge, product diversification, good financial management and use of technology.
