Publication Ethics

DEVELOP (e-ISSN: 2580-1767) is a review journal published by the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. This statement explains the politics of all parties involved in the process of discussing articles in this journal, including authors, editor in chief, Editorial Board, reviewers and publishers.

Ethics Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of the article in the DEVELOP journal carried out a rigorous review process, this is an important building in the development of coherent and acknowledged knowledge, which is a reflection of the quality of the author's work. Articles that have been reviewed support and carry out scientific methods. Therefore, it is important to agree to the ethical standards expected for all parties involved in the agreement: writers, journal editors, best partners, publishers and the public.

Editorial is approval. In addition, the Economic Development Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya and the Editorial Board will help communicate between the writers of the article and the necessary journals and / or other publishers.

Publication Decision

The DEVELOP editor is responsible for deciding which articles to send. Validation of this work and important for research and discussion must always encourage that decision. The editor can be guided by the journal policy editorial board and limited by applicable legal provisions, such as defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors can negotiate with other editors or best partners in making this decision.

Justice aspect

The editor at any time will discuss the manuscript relating to the intellectual content of the author regardless of race, gender, speaking section, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, or political views of the authors.

Confidentiality

The editor and every editorial staff must disclose any information about the manuscript sent to anyone other than the author, reviewer, prospective reviewer, other appropriate editorial board, and publisher, as appropriate.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Material that is not approved in the submitted text may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Reviewer Task

Contributions to Editorial Decisions

Mitra Bestari help editors in making editorial decisions and can help writers improve the quality of the manuscript through the editor.

Speed

Each selected reviewer does not need the requirements / interests to review the manuscript or does not need enough time to review and must immediately receive the editor and withdraw from the review process.

Confidentiality

Each manuscript received for review must be approved as a confidential document. Manuscripts may not be disseminated or discussed with others issued by the editor.

Standard of Objectivity

Reviews must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism from the author is not worthy of being conveyed. The reviewer must agree with their opinions with supporting arguments.

Source Recognition

Reviewers must issue relevant published works that have not been quoted by the author. The statement that observations, derivations, or previously agreed arguments must be agreed with the relevant ones. The reviewer must also announce to the editor if there is a substantial or overlap between the approved text and each other article published.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Information or ideas obtained in the review process must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. The reviewer must reject the text in which they must oppose the interests of competition, collaboration, or relationships and other connections with one of the authors, companies, or institutions related to the manuscript.

Reporting Standards

Authors of the original research report must report accurate reports of the work performed and objective discussion of the significance of the research. The underlying data must be included accurately in the manuscript. A manuscript must contain sufficient details and references to allow others to request work. Assistance reports or inaccurate information that is intentionally made as an unethical and unacceptable study.
