Abstract
Gedangan District is located in Sidoarjo Regency which is located in the south of Surabaya City, so that the increase in population will also increase every year. There were 2,082,801 people in 2020 and an increase of around 7.2% over the last 10 years, with a population of 1,941,500 people in 2010. This data was recorded in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sidoarjo Regency through the population census in 2010. 2020. Thus, it will also affect the development of the number of motorized vehicles that pass on a road such as Jalan A. Yani, Gedangan District, Sidoarj Regency. Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014) used in the analysis of this research. Researchers conducted a survey of data collection directly in the field in the form of road geometric data, the volume of the number of vehicles and side barriers, the survey was carried out for 5 days on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The data will be processed into a calculation of traffic volume, road capacity, degree of saturation to the level of road service. This study found that the largest traffic volume occurred on Friday for the direction of Sidoarjo of 2808.15 skr/hour at 16.00-17.00 and for the direction of Surabaya on Monday of 2816 skr/hour at 07.00-08.00. This 4/2T type road has a road capacity of 3282.16 skr/hour for the direction of Sidoarjo with a degree of saturation of 0.86, and 3136.98 skr/hour for the direction of Surabaya with a degree of saturation of 0.90.
