Analisis Karakteristik Parkir Kendaraan Roda Empat Alun-Alun Kota Mojokerto
Abstract
Mojokerto square is a public facility for tourist attractions for Mojokerto residents whose location is on Kyai H. Hasyim Ashari street. Overcrowding on this section of the road is common from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day, and on weekends visitors to the square increase to twice or more than a normal day. Meanwhile, the parking space provided by the Mojokerto City town square is not able to accommodate capacity. This research was carried out with the aim of determining the real needs of thinking space and also the characteristics of parking in the parking area of Mojokerto City Square. In this study, two survey methods were used, namely the patrol survey method and the parking inventory survey. The results of this study obtained the maximum duration of effective days and holidays was 180 minutes. The maximum accumulation on effective days and holidays is 41 and 52 vehicles, respectively. The maximum parking volume is 83 vehicles per hour at 17.00 – 18.00 which occurs during holidays. Parking turnover during effective days is 8 times and during holidays it is 9.87 times. The parking index on effective days was 273.33% and 346.67% on holidays. The static capacity for car parking is 15 SRP. Parking occupancy is 106.67% and 166.67% respectively during effective days and holidays at 17.00 – 18.00. The need for parking space (KRP) for four-wheeled vehicles that needs to be available is as many as 57 SRP.
