The submission and review of manuscripts is free of charge; however, if your manuscript is accepted for publication, you are required to pay to cover the publication fee because the INFORM journal is independently managed. The current Article Processing Charge (APC), starting from Vol. 11 No. 2, July 2026, is as follows:

If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs. If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.

The author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts because the withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources that editors and referees spent a great deal of time processing submitted manuscripts, money, and works invested by the publisher. 

• If the author still requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, the author will be punished with paying IDR 2,000,000 per manuscript as a withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal. The withdrawal of the manuscript after the manuscript is accepted for publication will result in the author being punished by paying IDR 3,500,000 per manuscript. Withdrawal of the manuscript is only allowed after the withdrawal penalty has been fully paid to the publisher. If the author doesn't agree to pay the penalty, the author and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal.
