Inform: Jurnal Ilmiah Bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi is One of the journals published by the Informatics Engineering Department Dr. Soetomo University, was established in January 2016. Inform a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, the aim of this journal is to publish high-quality articles dedicated to the field of information and communication technology, Published 2 times a year in January and July. 

Focus and Scope that is Scientific research related to information and communication technology fields, including Software Engineering, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Architecture and Hardware, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Computer Application and Artificial intelligence, Game Technology, and Computer Graphics, but not limited to informatics scope. 

2016

Inform : Jurnal Ilmiah Bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi received SK Number p-ISSN: 2502-3470 (printed media) starting on Vol. 1, No. 1, January - June 2016 (SK no. 0005.25023470/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2016.02 – February 2nd,  2016). This journal was originally founded by Ratna Nur Tiara Shanty, S.Kom., M.Kom (NIDN 0715048901). He is a Lecturer in the Informatics Department, Dr. Soetomo University. Served as the first Chief Editor since Vol. 1, No. January 1st, 2016 to Vol. 1, No. January 2nd, 2016.

2017-2019

In 2017 the e-ISSN Number: 2581-0367 (online media) began to be published in Vol. 2, No. 2, July - December 2017 by Decree no. 0005.25810367/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2017.07 - 31 July 2017. This journal had publishing problems in Vol.2 No.1 2017 to Vol.2. No.2 2017. Furthermore, the management of the journal was continued by Budi Santoso, ST., MT as the editor-in-chief. Publishing back issues, and the publication of current journals, namely Vol.3 No.1 2018 to Vol.4 No.1 2019.

2019-2020

Inform journal with p-ISSN:2502-3470 and e-ISSN:2581-0367 has been SINTA-4 Accreditation by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 85/M/KPT/2020 dated April 1, 2020. Accreditation is valid for 5 years Vol.3 No.2 2018 to Vol.8 No.1 2023. All of the articles in this journal registered with unique DOI, provided by Crossref. In the issue of Vol.4 No.2 2019 to Vol.5 No.1 2020, it was managed by the editor-in-chief Syaiful Hidayat, S.Kom., M.Kom.

2020 to date

In the issue of Vol.5 No.2 2020 until the publication of the last volume, it was managed by the chairman of the editorial board, Achmad Choiron, S.Kom., M.T. The policy flow for the number of published papers has been increased from the previous 8 papers to 11 papers starting from the issue of Vol.6 No.1 2021 until now. This policy flow was taken because the Editorial team's resources in managing the Journal were very reliable.
