Abstract

The performance of employees in the distribution of electronic products in a period of several months during this pandemic has fluctuated, and this condition is influenced by employee decisions about leadership profiles and work stress conditions. This study took 30 samples of employees at PT Gardha Jaya Sakti in Surabaya. Data were collected through a Likert scale, and the results of structural equation modeling (SEM) through partial least squares did not prove the influence of leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction with a value of t = 0.252 and p = 0.801 (p> 0.05). Job stress through job satisfaction has no effect on performance, with a value of t = 0.647; and p = 0.518 (p> 0.05). There is no leadership effect on job satisfaction, at t = 0.722 and p = 0.470 (p> 0.05). However, it proves that leadership directly affects performance with a value of t = 2.851 and p = 0.005 (p <0.05), directly job stress affects performance with a value of t = -3.421 and p = 0.004 (p <0.05) ; and job stress has an effect on job satisfaction, which is indicated by the value of t = -2.781 and p = 0.006 (p <0.05), and there is an effect of job satisfaction on employee performance with a value of t = 2.589 and p = 0.005 (p <0, 05).
