About the Journal

Ekspektra: Journal of Business & Management (P-ISSN=2549-3604; E-ISSN=2549-6972) is a scientific peer-reviewed journal published by the Management Program for Economics and Business Faculty at Dr Soetomo University, Indonesia, in collaboration with Insan Doktor Ekonomi Indonesia, a professional organization of doctoral staff in the Indonesian economy. The journal aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of original and high-quality research in various fields of economics and business.
Ekspektra invites scholarly articles in the field of management science, encompassing areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, MSMEs, and business. The journal is published twice a year, in February and August. With a rigorous peer-review process, Eksktra strives to ensure publication of relevant and impactful research that contributes to scientific discussion and advances knowledge.

Focus and Scope

Editor receives research articles related to management science, including marketing, finance, Human Resources, MSMEs and Business.

Peer Review Process

Articles that have been published have passed the selection stage. After being received from the author, the article was selected blindly. Selection criteria include suitability of writing with writing format (selingkung style) Ekspektra: Journal of Business and Management, topic / discussion feasibility, relevance of research methods used, significance of contributions to the development of science and professions related to Management and Business sciences, as well as current references.Review of articles involving best partners - an expert who is independent from the editor. The editor has the right to select and provide constructive reviews, and submit the evaluation results to the article writer.
This journal is double blind peer reviewed by reviewers competent in their field of study. Reviewers have at least two recent publication not more than five years as a minimun requirement. Each manuscript has to review not more than two weeks after reviewer receiving email from the jounals editor

Ekspektra: Journal of Business and Management is a journal published online twice a year in February and August.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Plagiarism Check

Scanning of plagiarism on the manuscripts will be conducted by using Turnitin software. The similarity threshold is 20%. We will reject the manuscript with similarity rate above 20% and inform the author immediately through the email.

Article processing Charges

This journal charges the following Article Processing Charge. Article Publication:
Author from Indonesia: 750,000.00 (IDR)
Author from outside Indonesia:  46.00 (USD).
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.

Journal History

Ekspektra: Jurnal Bisnis dan Manajemen was published by the Dr Soetomo University Management Study Program in Surabaya in collaboration with the Indonesian Economic Doctoral Staff (IDEI). The publication of this journal aims to improve the quality of science, and channel the interests of sharing and disseminating knowledge to academics, students, practitioners and observers of science. Editors receive research results articles related to financial management science, marketing management, human resource management and business. Ekspektra: Jurnal Bisnis dan Manajemen is published twice a year in February and August.
 
The article published in this journal has passed the selection stage. After being received from the author, the article was selected administratively. Selection criteria include the suitability of writing with the writing format (selingkung style) Business Journal and Management - Expectra, topic / discussion feasibility, scope. After passing the administrative selection, the article will be blinded by two reviewers / partners for content selection, the relevance of the research method used, the significance of contributions to the development of science and professions related to Management and Business, as well as the current reference. an expert who is independent from the editor. The editor has the right to select and provide constructive reviews, and submit the evaluation results to the article writer.
 
In the latest development of Ekspektra: Jurnal Bisnis dan Manajemen (May 2023), several adjustments have been made to improve the quality and effectiveness of publication. One of the significant adjustments is the latest template adjustment that will be applied starting from Volume 7, Issue 2. This template adjustment is made with the aim of optimizing the structure and layout of articles in our journal. Apart from adjustments to the template, there have also been changes to our Editorial Team. We have welcomed several new members who are experts and experienced in history. This change aims to strengthen our team and improve the quality of the process of editing, reviewing, and selecting articles. Through the latest template adjustments and changes to the Editorial Team, we hope to raise the bar for our journal and provide the best reader experience for authors and. We are committed to continuously adapting and adapting to the latest developments in the academic world, in order to maintain the relevance and excellence of our historical journals.
