  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

TYPE OF ARTICLE

The results of the research

Article is original research no longer than 5,000 words (including tables and images). Format of writing research results as follows: title, author's name and instance, abstract (in English language) followed by a maximum of 5 keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements (if required), and references (template article can be downloaded on the website FOODSCITECH http://ejournal.unitomo.ac.id/index.php/foodscitech

 

Short communication

Articles short communications maximum of 3,500 words (including tables and images, titles, names and instances of authors, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements (if necessary), and bibliography). Short communication articles should provide an important contribution to the new science, technology or its application. The author is responsible for the content of the manuscript and include your email address, phone number + agencies address instances (with the area code) and the postal code. The author of the correspondent (1 author) will be the contacts that communicate with the editorial FOODSCITECH during the process of the management of the paper until publication or published.

The REQUIREMENTS REGARDING the ARTICLE:

  1. Written in English Language, typed using the Microsoft Word program, A4 paper and Arial font 11 pt, and 1.15 spacing.
  2.  Figures and tables must be created in a separate page after references. (should not be placed in the middle of the manuscript)
  3. Paper ever presented in a scientific meeting should be a footnote (footnote) regarding the meeting (Conference name, time and place).
  4. Include the ethical clearance for research using animal or human test (in vivo) from related parties.
  5. Soft copy uploaded on the website FOODSCITECH.
  6. All correspondence is done via open journal system (OJS) FOODSCITECH

 

WRITING CONTENT GUIDELINES

Title

  1. Article title should be concise, informative 20 words maximum.
  2. title wrote in the English Language & United Kingdom with a capital letter unless the name of the species.
  3. the author's name is written without a title, enter the sign * for writers, correspondents include the numbers 1, 2, 3 and so on for different agencies
  4. name of the agencies should be written in full.
  5. compulsory correspondent Authors list the complete address with zip code and email is active.

 

Abstract

  1. Abstract written in a single paragraph in both Indonesia and the United Kingdom (italics), each no more than 250 words. 
  2. Abstract contains highlights of the background, materials and methods, as well as the results of the study includes quantitative data that stands out and is associated with the title. 
  3. written with letters of TNR 10 pt, space 1.0

 

The keywords

The keywords a number of 3-5 words are arranged alphabetically. Use the font TNR 10 pt, and bold

Introduction

Introduction contains the background and support libraries which ends with research objectives.

 

Materials and methods

  1. Main ingredients used must be clear specifications and source.
  2. Specifications of chemicals and equipment integrated in the main method.
  3. The methods used must be reproducible and if taken from other sources are equipped with citations.
  4. Statistical analysis are written at the end of the materials and methods, lists the statistics method used and the tools/software to perform statistical analysis

 

 Results and Discussion

  1. The titles table and Figure must be numbered sequentially according the article.
  2. Discussion of research results accompanied the appropriate library support.
  3. A decimal number are written with a comma for the English Language; a decimal number is adjusted to the type of analysis.
  4. The Data presented in the form of an average Standard Deviation are equipped with (SD) or Standard Error of the Mean (SEM) in tables or images.
  5. Data accompanied by appropriate statistical analysis, must be equipped with complete information about the procedures of sampling, repetition, and statistical methods are used.

 

Conclusion

The conclusion drawn on the basis of the results and a discussion with reference to the research objectives. Written in narrative form, not in the form of a point per point.

 

Acknowledgements

(If necessary) is written the name of the agency or individual who was instrumental in funding the implementation of the research and the writing of the article.

  2. Order of libraries arranged alphabetically.
  3. The year, Volume and page is rendered in full.
  4. Library from the internet carries the date at time of quote e. Library used maximum is the latest issue of the last 10 years.
