Evaluasi Kebijakan Penyediaan Air Minum dan Sanitasi Berbasis Masyarakat (PAMSIMAS) di Desa Bangka Lewat Kecamatan Kuwus Kabupaten Manggarai Barat

Abstract

Water is a basic need for humans, but in reality not everyone has access to adequate clean and healthy water. The problem of clean water in Bangka Lewat village, Kuwus District, West Manggarai Regency is experiencing difficulties in getting clean water. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Supply Program (PAMSIMAS) in Bangka Lewat village. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. In this study, an evaluation theory from William N Dunn was used which consisted of six criteria, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness, and accuracy. The results of this study show that the pamsimas in Bangka Lewat village has been running well but not optimally, the benefits of the PAMSIMAS program are able to distribute clean water, and are able to change the lifestyle of the community for the better. But there are still shortcomings such as the uneven distribution of house connections. Rrecommendations to improve the leveling of Pamsimas development can be carried out during deliberations on the determination of development priorities carried out by all elements of Pamsimas implementation, this is so that justice and equity are created in development because it is directly supervised by all related parties.
