Abstract

The Effectiveness of Village Funds Utilization in Infrastructure Development and Economic Potential Management (A Case Study of Tana Modu Village, Katiku Tana Selatan Subdistrict, Central Sumba Regency) This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of village funds utilization in infrastructure development and economic potential management in Tana Modu Village. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that village funds have contributed to basic infrastructure development, such as access roads and irrigation, but the outcomes remain suboptimal. Supporting factors include fund availability and community participation, whereas the main obstacles are the community's limited understanding of village fund regulations and the lack of human resources. The study recommends enhancing the capacity of village officials and strengthening community participation mechanisms to improve the effectiveness of village fund utilization.
